About the Client

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), India engaged Wazir Advisors to conduct baseline study and impact assessment for skill development project in 33 locations across India. The project was aimed at enabling the unemployed youth to get jobs which will lead to rural development, education and poverty alleviation

Project Objectives

Core objective of the project was to conduct a baseline study and impact assessment covering following aspects:

  1. Parameter identification and development of study tools
  2. Phase I: Baseline study
    • Location analysis for each of the location from secondary research
    • Field research for identified stakeholders
    • Qualitative analysis to understand challenges & future scenario
    • Final report of each location
  3. Phase II: Impact Assessment
    • Field research for imparted trainees and pre-identified stakeholders
    • Qualitative analysis to understand challenges & future scenario
    • Final report of each location
Deliverables
  1. Wazir has submitted the baseline study report to the Client. As of now, the training is going on in the identified locations. The training is expected to complete by March 2016 after which we will undertake an impact assessment study at all the locations and bring out the quantified impact of conducted training.
