He serves as Board Member of the region’s largest family-owned business groups and is extensively active in about 20 countries in the Middle East, Africa and the Asian continent within the fields of Trading & Distribution, FMCG Manufacturing, Hospitality, Ship Chandling and Catering, Oil & Gas, Construction, Hotels, Hypermarkets, Shopping Malls, Consumer Electronics & Appliances, MEP Contracting, Air Conditioning, Luxury Retail, Automotive, Furniture, Office Automation, Technology, Cyber Security etc. Dr Guglaani has also been a Senior Partner at a Global Auditing, Accounting and Consulting firm, leading the verticals of Strategy, Transformation, Expansion, Automation and Technology-Audit| Governance| Risk| Compliance. Carving and implementing a futuristic strategy to create a lean, sustainable, process-driven, well-governed, forward-thinking and constantly innovating business is his expertise. He is a graduate of the National Defence Academy, having undergone three years of Armed Forces officers training aimed at becoming a Fighter pilot and did his MBA and Ph.D in Technology Risk and Governance, Leadership, Strategy & Finance.
Having operated at C and Board level Level positions in the Middle East, Europe, the US, and South Asia, while based out of GCC, India, Switzerland and US, he has been leading large multi-industry multi-geography family business groups, profitably, in the capacity of Group CEO.
