Project Brief

This USD 25 Mn project was commissioned to our team by one of India’s leading business houses. Execution spanned 3-4 years.

Team’s Scope of Work:

Selection of suitable land
Cultivation of fodder for cattle over 500 acres of land
Design, selection of appropriate technology, and part construction of farm for housing 5000 animals
Selection, purchase and induction of 1500 animals in the farm
Farm Management – operations management of a farm of 1500 heads – from growing fodder to sales of milk, for a period of two years.
Compete retail market strategy for launch of new milk brand + execution

Outcome:

Milking average (milking animals) achieved 19.6 liters/animal in year two. The new milk brand was successfully launched in the NCR market.
